Re-packing of cargo
Re-packeging
Heaped pallets, damaged or lost goods, problems with cargo accounting and control of residues -
these, and a host of other problems entail illiterate packaging
and labeling.

These 2 critical warehouse operations ensure easy inventory and safe delivery of products to the final recipient.
Repackaging of goods and application of designations may be required in cases where it is necessary to carry out:
  • consolidation - to combine small consignments of cargo from different suppliers and send them to one address;

  • deconsolidation - to split a large batch into small ones for delivery to different addresses;
  • replacement of packaging with a branded one with a company logo and special designations;
  • tidy up the piled-up cargo;
  • and in a number of other cases.
  • To perform these warehouse operations, both manual labor and special equipment are used.

Repackaging generally includes:
  • packing the goods in foil or zip envelopes, if necessary;
  • enclosing raw materials / products in new boxes, bags or boxes;
  • strapping with scotch tape or strap tape;
  • application of designations on containers;
  • collection of cargo on pallets, palletizing, or crate, and preparation for shipment.
Warehouses are engaged only in packaging products for wholesale. Therefore, operations such as commercial packaging, product kits, vulcanization and other minor operations are excluded.
